- As a guest speaker, presented a lecture on the ‘Evolution of Competition Law in India’ under the Academic Lecture on “Evolution of Competition Law with respect to India” jointly organised by CUTS Institute for Regulation & Competition (CIRC) in collaboration with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Kolkata. .
- Spoke in the session on International Trade Concerns and presented a paper on “Effects of International Regulatory Harmonization and International Agreements (for Trade)”, at the international conference on “Economic Consideration of Bio-safety and Biotechnology Regulations in India: A Policy Dialogue”, jointly organised by International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Washington and Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) at New Delhi.
- As a member of the Working Group on Competition Policy of the Planning Commission of India asked to prepare an input paper on “The state of competition in India and the impediments, if any, on account of policies of the Government”. Invited to make two presentations for the second meeting of the Working Group on “State of Competition in India” and “State Government Policy and Competition”.
- Invited to give a talk on ‘Civil Society’s Voice and Access to Justice’ at the Plenary titled Evolving Effective Regulatory Mechanism”. Also, participated in the Debate titled “In a Developing Economy like India, Sustainable Development is pipe-dream meant for Lip-Service only” and spoke FOR the motion at the “International Conference: Striking the Right Balance-Law and Sustainable Development in India’s Energy Economy, organised jointly by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) in New Delhi.
- Contributed an Introductory Chapter with Prof Simon Evenett (Professor of International Trade and Economic Development at University of St Gallen, Switzerland) to the report titled “Competition Regimes in the World-A Civil Society Report”, which is an attempt to map out competition regimes of 119 countries around the world from the civil society perspective.
- On the invitation of US-ASEAN Business Council, Washington DC, presented a brief on CUTS activities in Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam under our Advocacy and Capacity Building on competition law in Asia, under the 7Up2 Project. “Competition Policy and Law in CLV Countries”

- Project on ‘Globalisation and Economic Success’, a three-part research and policy conference being organized by The Brenthurst Foundation, South Africa, in collaboration with Institute for Defence and Strategic Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore & The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Ministry of Investment, Egypt.
